I’m a budding artist who specializes in Sculpture and Digital Design. I’m originally from Monticello KY,  and currently live in Lexington KY. 

In 2017 I graduated from the University of Kentucky (UK); with a Bachelors of Arts in Studio Art, and a minor in Art History. At UK I received formal art and design training, with a curriculum focused on creating Fine Art Pieces. In my later years at UK I got to specialize in my chosen fields of Art. This resulted in me spending a lot of time in the UK Metal Arts Shop, and The Fab Lab (a department that focused on creating art utilizing advances in technology). In the Fab Lab I was able to mix my Graphic Design experience and my formal artistic training via technologies like: 3D Printers, Laser Cutters/Engravers, CNC routing, etc.

“Jack of all trades, master of none. Better than a master of one.” The second half of this saying is rarely heard, but carries with it a much more encouraging sentiment. I have always appreciated this saying because I consider myself a Jack of All Things. I have always had a passion to create, as a kid the biggest disappointment I faced was that I couldn’t use the big equipment. I felt restrained by my own capabilities, so I took every opportunity to learn and grow. However, there’s always another tool or skill to learn. Once I learned how to use woodworking tools, metal working took my interest, and then I learned of Digital Fabrication (3D Design, 3D Printing, etc.). I enjoy learning and expanding my knowledge and skill base so that some day I can make something that I can’t now. Because I love learning new skills and taking on new experiences I can catch on to new processes or techniques with ease.  Thanks to my creative ambitions I have developed a varied set of skills, and I am always looking to learn more to further expand my own capabilities. Because of all this, I refer to myself as a Jack of All Things.

I’ve always felt that the purpose of life is to enjoy the time you have so I want to spend my time creating and doing what I love while also blurring the line between my imagination and the real world. Creating allows me to take the endless expanse of the human mind and bring it into the physical world; making my own reality. I became an artist to spend my life doing what I love. Creating for me and for you!
